MODEL MOMENT: JULIA JOHANSEN
Shaggy red hair and freckles for days is what caught my eye instantly with the beautiful Julia Johansen. Ms. Johansen has the looks of a lower Eastside NewYork hipster meets a chic Parisian girl from the 70's. Julia can credit herself as a muse for fashion house Mulberry. Which by the way is not an easy feat to accomplish. Julia has become a fixture for many in the fashion world and is currently a fixture on my list of models to look out for. RUNWAY2YOURWAY: JIL SANDER SPRING 2012
If you've been stuck under a rock and haven't seen the amazing patterns that were rocked at the Jil Sander's Spring 2012 show, then we have a problem. The palettes consist of plaids, paisleys, and one of my favorite springtime favs GINGHAM! YES I REPEAT GINGHAM, the print that is used frequently as a table cover for a picnic. Gingham is a pretty easy print to wear, if worn correctly. Point and example my favorite look from the show via style.com
